Dealership Finish Program

The Finish Sells the Car. Train the Team That Delivers It.

Chuck Mason Wet Look rebuilds dealership wash and detail departments, trains the people with real talent, and sets a delivery standard worthy of vehicles priced in six figures.

The Problem

Most Dealerships Have People Who Wash Cars. Few Have People Trained to Finish Them.

A new vehicle arrives from transport with wash marks, residue, and light swirls. It goes to a wash bay staffed by people who were never taught paint. It is delivered to a customer who just paid more than $100,000 and looks closely.

When that customer finds the flaws, the dealership pays an outside detailer for paint correction to make it right. The cost is real, and so is the damage to the delivery, the survey, and the referral.

The finish is the first thing a buyer sees and the last thing they inspect before they sign. It belongs near the top of the priority list.

What We Do

Chuck Mason Comes In and Rebuilds the Department

A working program, taught on your floor, on your vehicles, by a master with 50+ years at the finish.

  1. Assess the department

The people, the process, the products, the lighting, and the vehicles leaving your lot today.

  2. Rebuild the process

Receiving, washing, decontamination, safe correction limits, final inspection, and the delivery bay, in an order that protects the paint.

  3. Train the team, hands on

Wash staff and detailers learn to read a finish, correct with restraint, and stop before they do harm.

  4. Select the talent

Chuck identifies the people with the eye and the hands to become your delivery finish team.

  5. Set the delivery standard

A written standard and a final check for every vehicle, with a higher bar for high-line and six-figure deliveries.

  6. Hold the standard

Follow-up visits and refresher training are available by arrangement.

What the Dealership Gains

A Delivery That Matches the Price

  • Vehicles delivered right the first time: the finish a six-figure buyer expects to see.
  • Less spent fixing deliveries: fewer outside paint correction bills to satisfy a customer who received an imperfect car.
  • A skilled in-house team: your own people, trained and selected, with a reason to stay.
  • Stronger standing: better deliveries support satisfaction scores, reviews, referrals, and repeat business.
  • Protection for pre-owned inventory: vehicles presented at their best on the lot and online.

How It Is Delivered

On Your Floor, With Your People

The program is delivered on site by Chuck Mason, supported by Chuck Mason Wet Look crew leads. Length and scope are set after the assessment, to fit the size of the department and the vehicles you sell.

Team members who complete the training can earn Wet Look certification, the same standard held by Chuck Mason Wet Look crews.
